Many people think that your shoes and your handbag have to be the same color in order to look elegant and classy.

Why? The key is consistency, neatness and harmony of the whole outfit. Your shoes and bag do not have to match, it is important that the whole outfit looks harmoniously.

It can help you to follow the three-color-rule, which helps keep your outfit balanced.

BUT STILL A MYTH

A bag can add character to your style! And i personally love to style my outfits in that way. If you choose clothes in neutral colors, adding a standout bag in a contrasting color or pattern, can transform the whole outfit and give it more personality.

In the end both options are great and both are going to look elegant. Just remember to keep it balanced and harmonious.
